That's What HE Said Thursday #37: Josh from To All The Boys I've Loved Before

That's what HE said Thursday is a weekly meme hosted at Chapter Break where you post a favorite line of a book boyfriend to his girl. It's the perfect meme to share all those awesome quotes!

Today's quote is from Josh of To All The Boys I've Loved Before by Jenny Han.

     Quote:

"I hate that you're with Kavinsky. I hate it. He's not good enough for you. I'm sorry to say it, but he's just not. In my opinion, no guy will ever be good enough for you. Least of all me."

-Josh to Lara Jean

Although Josh wasn't my favorite boyfriend because I fell deeply in love with Mike Kavinsky, I really loved this quote from him. I liked how he fully admits that Lara Jean is an incredible girl and that she deserves better. Josh isn't that bad, I was actually rooting for him in the beginning. He's the sweet next door neighbor type you can't help but develop feelings for, but in the end like how he says it, he's not good enough for Lara Jean.

  2. This is so sweet! You know, I've read her other series and I honestly didn't care for them at all so I've kept away from this one. However, this lovely quote may have changed my mind. Thanks for stopping by ours! ~ Bel
