7 Books I Wish I Could Read Again For The First Time

No matter how many wonderful books are coming out this year, or how many other books I've yet to read, the ones I have already read and enjoyed will always remain in my heart. They have left a mark, some more than the others, and I sometimes (almost always) wish I had that chance to re-read them for the first time. To fall in love with their words, their worlds, and wonderful characters.

So here is the list (in no particular order) of 7 books I wish I had the chance to read again for the first time. Could have been more but these are the ones that stand out:

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

Yup, these only count as one because I can't bring myself to pick only one. They are amazing. They are the reason why I started reading and in English, no less! Such a magical world.

Black Beauty by Anna Sewell

Black Beauty is one of those classics that you cherish forever. It's such a beautiful read, you guys. It's about friendship, love and bravery. It's the story about a horse. Heart-warming and heart-breaking. Have you seen the movie? Watch it. Make sure you have a box of tissues with you though.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

My first dystopian book. Highly unforgettable and all kinds of awesome. Wish I could go through it all over again!

The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa

I LOVE The Iron Fey series. I love Ash, Meghan, Puck and I ADORE Grimalkin. Every book in the series is amazing, but The Iron Queen was by far the best of all. It's like Julie Kagawa had gathered all the feels in the world inside a bottle and poured them straight into this book. It made me laugh and swoon and cry like if someone had ripped my heart out. And the book hangover I got was terrible. But I would love to feel it again.

Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

Aaaah, the feels I got from Anna! I remember re-reading it immediately after I finished the last page. It's a magical read in the streets of PARIS. It felt like if I were in the clouds, all fluffy and full of these beautiful feelings. Étienne will forever remain among my top book boyfriends list.

Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen

I know you are tired of hearing how much I love this book, but honestly, I can't help it. I'm in love with this book. I'm obsessed. I felt it. And my one big regret is that the first time I read  it it was with my phone. I just wish it had been with the book in my hands. Hugging and crying all over my phone wasn't as comforting as it could have been with the print version of it.

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen

A very predictable choice but who wouldn't love to read this book again for the first time? It's wonderful. And it has Mr. Darcy <3

50 Shades of Grey by E.L. James

LOL just kidding. Haven't read it.

  1. I AM HEAD OVER HEELS IN LOVE WITH STOLEN SONGBIRD <3 Seriously, I feel the same way. I want to read it for the first time again and get all those familiar butterflies in my stomach and laugh and cry and freaking fall in love with Tristan all over again. I own a physical copy of the book (; and I don't think "normal" people understand how much I like to stare at the cover.

  2. I think everyone would choose the HP series as one to reread for the first time! :) I haven't actually heard too much about Stolen Songbird, but the cover is definitely eye-catching! Glad to hear you're really in love with the book.
